Responsibilities

Requirements

• Part qualified in CA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification
• 4 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Good knowledge of VAT, WHT, APIT and other statutory requirements in Sri Lanka
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, the general ledger and monthly closing
• Ability to help prepare management accounts, financial reports and budgets
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
• Added advantage: experience in the construction industry, and in project or job costing, supplier payments, material costs and construction accounting
