The company is currently seeking a dedicated Account Assistant to join their Nugegoda branch team.

Role Overview

This is a key accounting role at Autoshine’s Nugegoda branch, supporting daily financial operations and ensuring accurate records of all financial transactions. Female candidates below the age of 45 are especially encouraged to apply. Working days are Monday to Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting tasks including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations
• Manage daily payments and process financial transactions accurately
• Calculate and manage EPF/ETF contributions in compliance with Sri Lankan labour regulations
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company internal controls
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as required by management

Qualifications

• Partially qualified in ACCA, CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting or finance work experience
• Proficiency in both Sinhala and English (written and spoken)
• Good computer literacy; experience with accounting software is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial information
