Terms the ad uses
DSCR is the debt service coverage ratio. It compares a borrower’s operating cash flow with its scheduled loan repayments, and lenders use it to judge whether a client can service a facility. Sensitivity analysis tests how that result changes if sales, costs or interest rates move. Covenants are the conditions a borrower agrees to keep during the loan, such as limits on additional borrowing.
Remuneration and selection
The bank says an attractive remuneration package and career progression opportunities await the right candidate. The ad gives no salary figure and the work location is not stated. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for evaluation and interview arrangements. Selection is strictly on merit, and any canvassing or attempt to influence the recruitment process results in disqualification.
Tips for your application
The ad names corporate lending experience, so describe the facilities you appraised: the type of borrower, the size of the facility and the analysis you prepared yourself. Show that you have built DSCR and sensitivity workings, since both appear in the requirements and the responsibilities. State your age and A/L result clearly because the ad sets an age limit of 40.
