The school’s Junior School is hiring a Class Teacher for Year 3. The ideal candidate is dynamic, self-motivated and creative.

Role overview

As the Year 3 Class Teacher you will teach all subjects to your own class of about 25 pupils, following the Edexcel curriculum. You will plan lessons from the set textbooks and your own supplementary resources, keep lessons lively and engaging, and switch to online teaching on Microsoft Teams when needed.

Duties

• Teach all Year 3 subjects (the school asks for at least 2 years’ experience doing this)
• Deliver interesting, engaging lessons for a class of 25
• Prepare lesson plans using the prescribed textbooks and supplementary resources
• Conduct online lessons through Microsoft Teams when required

Applicants should

• Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have good subject knowledge
• Have an excellent written and spoken command of English
• Be computer literate and able to prepare and teach smart-classroom and online lessons
• Motivate students to meet challenges
• Be enthusiastic and passionate about teaching
• Be a team player willing to take part in all school events
