Position Overview

DFCC Bank is looking for an experienced Pawning Officer for its Welimada branch in the Uva hill country. The officer will manage all pawning activity at the branch and support wider branch operations. The bank asks for four years of commercial banking experience that includes pawning, so this is not an entry-level post.

Main Responsibilities

• Handle all pawning activities at the Welimada branch.
• Support the branch’s other operational functions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout.
• Comply with the bank’s internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Background

• Four years of commercial banking experience, including pawning, with exposure to credit.
• Fair knowledge of the bank’s products and services.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• A flair for excellent customer service.
