ACPL is a member of the David Pieris Group, one of Sri Lanka’s largest conglomerates, with interests spanning automotive products, financial services, logistics, agribusiness, information technology, racing, and leisure. The company is hiring for its Compliance function at Associate and Junior Executive level.

Educational qualifications

• GCE Advanced Level qualification
• A diploma, certificate, or professional qualification
• Basic knowledge of the financial services industry and regulatory environment is an advantage

Experience

• Associate level: prior experience in a clerical, administrative, banking, finance, operations, or compliance-related role is an advantage
• Junior Executive level: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in compliance, banking, finance, audit, operations, or a related field is an advantage
• Candidates with a strong interest in building a career in Compliance and Regulatory Operations are encouraged to apply

Knowledge and skills

• Basic understanding of KYC, Customer Due Diligence, AML/CFT, and sanctions screening
• Basic understanding of regulatory requirements relating to Unit Trust and Portfolio Management operations is an advantage
• Good computer literacy, particularly in MS Excel and MS Word
• Able to accurately maintain, update, and review records and documentation
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills, particularly in English
• Able to prepare basic reports and maintain proper records
• Able to work with confidential customer and company information
