Role Overview

Siyapatha Finance is looking for an experienced Technician to join its Building Services team at Siyapatha Tower, Colombo 08, responsible for the upkeep of the building’s electrical, mechanical, and safety systems.

The Job

• Carry out planned preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical, air-conditioning, generator, fire protection, plumbing, and other allied building services systems
• Attend to faults and breakdowns promptly to ensure uninterrupted building services
• Monitor systems, record readings, and maintain accurate maintenance logs
• Assist and support external service providers and contractors under the direction of the relevant supervisor
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain plant rooms and work areas in good order

The Person

• NVQ Level 3/4 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning, or a related Building Services trade
• Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in building or facilities maintenance
• Experience in a commercial high-rise environment will be an advantage
• Sound working knowledge of MEP/building services systems and safe maintenance practices
• Willingness to work on a roster, including weekends, and be on-call/standby for emergencies
• Physically fit and able to work in plant rooms and at heights
