The Air Traffic Services division provides critical air traffic control and navigation services to ensure the safe and efficient movement of aircraft across Sri Lanka’s airspace, including approaches to Bandaranaike International Airport.
Position: Air Traffic Service Instructor
AASL invites applications for the prestigious post of Air Traffic Service Instructor (ගුවන් ගමන් සේවා උපදේශකYa) — a highly specialised aviation training role responsible for the instruction and assessment of Air Traffic Controllers.

Requirements
- Valid ICAO Air Traffic Controller (ATC) licence with relevant ratings
- Significant experience as an Air Traffic Controller (typically 5+ years)
- ATC Instructor or Assessor certification (preferred)
- Deep knowledge of ICAO standards, procedures, and aviation regulations
- Excellent communication and instruction skills in English
- Experience in radar and procedural ATC environments
- Sri Lankan or eligible to work in Sri Lanka
