DFCC Bank is currently seeking a Banking Assistant for its Trade Services and International Remittances division.

You Should Ideally

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant field
  • Possess full or partial qualifications acceptable to the Bank
  • Possess sound knowledge of foreign exchange regulations and related banking practices
  • Be an effective team player with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Have strong decision-making abilities with the capability to analyze situations and make informed judgments
  • Have excellent motivational skills with the ability to inspire, guide, and support team members toward achieving objectives

You Will Be Mainly Responsible For

  • Inputting outward remittances
  • Liaising with branches, business units, and correspondent banks to resolve discrepancies or delays
  • Collecting correspondence charges related to outward remittances and reconciling NOSTRO accounts
  • Responding to FIN 199/999 queries related to outward remittances
  • Submitting OTT-related reports to various regulatory and relevant bodies
  • Assisting in system upgrades, automation initiatives, and process improvements
  • Ensuring that OTTs processed are linked to the Sri Lanka Customs ASYCUDA system
