Head of Marketing

Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC (MBSL) is a dynamic and fast-growing finance company and a subsidiary of the Bank of Ceylon, committed to delivering innovative financial solutions to individuals and businesses. As part of its growth journey, MBSL is seeking a results-driven and strategic Head of Marketing to lead its branding and marketing initiatives, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
• Build and strengthen brand identity across all channels.
• Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, PR).
• Drive awareness and lead generation initiatives.
• Manage external agencies and vendors for marketing materials and media planning.
• Collaborate with the product development team to conceptualize and promote new financial products.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent brand image.
• Track and report on campaign performance and ROI.

Education & Experience

• Degree from a recognized University or full professional qualification in CIM/SLIM.
• Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in financial services or related industries, in a Senior Manager capacity.
• Proven experience in brand management and marketing strategy.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing, analytics, and content strategy.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
