Trainee – Compliance and ESG

The Trainee – Compliance and ESG will support the organisation’s compliance and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives by assisting with regulatory compliance activities, policy implementation, sustainability reporting, and documentation management. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure to corporate governance, risk management, compliance frameworks, and ESG practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and internal procedures.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the organisation’s compliance framework.
- Maintain accurate compliance records, registers, and documentation.
- Assist in conducting compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
- Monitor regulatory developments and communicate relevant updates to the team.
- Support the preparation and review of compliance reports, policies, and procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Eco Business Management, Environmental and Natural Resource Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different functions.
- Good coordination, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
- Positive attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Basic problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
