Job Role

PL.MTT. Muthukaruppan Chettiar Jewellers is seeking a talented and meticulous Executive – Internal Audit to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the internal audit function, ensuring best practices are followed and that accurate, timely audit information is reported to management. Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Implement best audit and business practices in line with applicable internal audit statements and frameworks.
Manage resources and audit assignments, ensuring effective allocation and timely completion of audit tasks.
Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks, escalating findings appropriately.
Oversee audits covering both operational and financial processes across the organisation.
Ensure complete, accurate, and timely audit information is reported to Management.
Identify areas for operational improvement and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Liaise with department heads to review internal controls and assess compliance with company policies.

Qualifications & Experience

Part qualifications from CA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent professional body).
Minimum two years of working experience in an internal audit environment or a reputed organisation.
Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team.
Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
Strong analytical mindset with sound knowledge of audit standards and internal controls.
