Job Overview
The Banking Assistant / Senior Banking Assistant at the Kandy Branch will be primarily responsible for credit activities at the branch while assisting with operational activities, providing exceptional customer service, and complying with the policies and guidelines set by the Bank and regulators. The role requires candidates with a minimum of 2–4 years of commercial banking experience, including branch credit exposure with operations and pawning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle credit activities at the Kandy branch in line with bank policies and regulatory guidelines
- Assist with day-to-day operational activities of the branch
- Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in and existing customers
- Support the branch in achieving lending and operational targets
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal procedures
- Assist with pawning operations and related documentation
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required by management
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in the field of Commercial Banking, including branch credit with exposure to operations and pawning
- Fair knowledge of the products and services offered by the Bank
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Flair for excellent customer service
